Childhood Education Grades (1-6) BA - The Childhood Education (1-6) program is designed for those seeking NYS certification to teach in elementary school classrooms in New York.
Adolescence Education (English, Math, Science, History, Foreign Language 7-12) BA - The Adolescent Education (7-12) program is designed for those students seeking NYS certification to teach English, History, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science, Spanish or Italian in grades 7-12 in New York public schools

Early Childhood Education MSED Online - The Early Childhood Education program is designed for those seeking NYS certification to teach in early childhood (birth-grade 2) classrooms in New York
Childhood Education MSED The Childhood Education (1-6) program is designed for those seeking NYS initial certification to teach in elementary school classrooms in New York.
Adolescent Education (Social Studies, English, Math, Biology) MSED - The Adolescence Education program is designed for students who wish to become secondary education teachers in biology, English, Math, or Social Studies in New York.
Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) (MSED, Bilingual Extension, Advanced Certificate) Online - The Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Master's level program will prepare teacher candidates to be certified to teach English language learners (ELLs) in public and private schools.
Leadership in Education (Advanced Certificate) The Post Master’s Advanced Certificate in Leadership in Education prepares individuals with a strong commitment to leading in urban and diverse educational settings.

The BSSW and the MSW Social Work programs are accredited by the (CSWE). CSWE’s Board of Accreditation is recognized by the . CHEA recognition assures the public that CSWE’s Board of Accreditation is competent to engage in quality reviews of social work programs based on the CHEA recognition standards.

�鶹��Ƶ’s School of Education and Social Work Teacher Preparation Programs are recognized for National Excellence in Teacher Preparation The (CAEP) accredited the Educator Preparation Provider (EPP) at the College of Staten Island/CUNY through Spring 2031. CAEP promotes excellence in educator preparation through content and pedagogy, clinical partnerships and practice, candidate recruitment, progression and support, program impact, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. The EPP at the College of Staten Island/ CUNY meets rigorous national standards for educator preparation set by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation.
